Habitual Listens Vol. 39: YETI PACK

With members based in North America, Europe and Asia, this mysterious outfit is as elusive as the legendary beast from whom their name is derived. Put together in the winter of 2017 after the video shoot for debut single “Talk To Me Dead”, YETI PACK aim to misappropriate culture and subculture in hopes of bringing back witt and zest to music, an element which they believe has been lost over the years.

Comprising rappers AFRO JUNIOR, Rush Martines, RVND and YELLO, the quartet has been calculatedly disseminating singles over the span of 2018, culminating in the release of their latest single “BROKE AF”, a testimony to their bank accounts and a nod to the sound they have been slowly but steadily building on — a combination of traditional Asian influence, comedy and Southern drill music — kung fu trap.

“BROKE AF” is featured as the first track of Habitual Listens Vol. 39, as well as other Spotify playlists like “BEATS AND RHYMES, NEW MUSIC FRIDAY PH, NEW MUSIC FRIDAY SG, NEW MUSIC FRIDAY MSIA, and SG VIRAL 50”.

“IT’S A PARTY. LET’S GET LIT.” Have a listen to our 39th volume for yourself below, or click this link to go to Spotify.
